There is a nominal charge for the Hobbyist version; it is
intended to be used by hobbyists and individuals. One of the reasons I made this program
was so that I could touch up tile sets, or pull together a set from a bunch of different
images. If that's all you do, the Community Version is the one you want. It's cheap because
I'm expecting that you're not making money from using it; that it's one tool that you might
use while working but it's not a major tool.
Right now, we're running a special on the Commercial version, which is selling for the same price as the
Hobbyist version. All new Hobbyist license purchases will be upgraded automatically.

The Commercial version is intended for use by working professionals, or by a company that wishes to make
the product available to its employees. One license is required for each active copy of the application
you intend to use; if you have three employees that will use it, then you need three licenses. More information
on the license can be found on our license page.
We're currently running an introductory special on the Commercial Version; it is priced the same as the Hobbyist
version. It is, however, the full commercial license!
